Ops & customer experience for startups, nonprofits & mission-led businesses

I keep the behind‑the‑scenessystems & automations
running, so your team
can do the big stufflaunches • events • growth

Migrations that don't lose a single student. Email automations that actually send. Launches and events that land on time. Reports your board can read. That's the work. I'm Norie, and it's my favorite kind.

Services the stuff I take off your plate

Every engagement is scoped around outcomes, not hours. Here's where I do my best work:

Systems & Migrations

Moving your course, CRM, or knowledge base to a new platform with content, students, and data intact. Mapped, tested, and switched over with zero "wait, where did that go?" moments.

Email Automations

Welcome sequences, onboarding flows, donor journeys, and re-engagement campaigns, built in your email tool, documented, and actually firing when they should.

Launch Management

Course, program, campaign, or product launches run from a real project plan: timeline, tech checklist, email calendar, and a calm person (me) watching all of it.

Event Management

Virtual summits, fundraisers, webinars, and workshops. Registration, reminders, run-of-show, speaker wrangling, and post-event follow-up, all handled end to end.

Reporting & Dashboards

The numbers that matter, in one place your team or board actually reads. Pulled from your tools monthly, with plain-language notes on what changed and why.

Project & Team Management

One project plan, clear owners, honest status updates. I keep cross-functional projects and small teams moving without anyone having to chase anyone.

Community Management

Member onboarding journeys, engagement calendars, moderation guidelines, and a weekly rhythm that keeps your customer, donor, or member community active. I build the system, not just answer the inbox.

Customer Experience & Support

Support queues run with care: help docs, saved replies, and a feedback loop that turns tickets into fixes. 14+ years on the front lines means your customers are in kind, capable hands.

The stack fluent in your tools

The platforms I build in, automate, and untangle most often:

How we'll work simple on purpose

You shouldn't need a project manager to manage your operations person. Here's the whole process:

1

Fit call

Free, 30 minutes. We talk through what's slowing you down, and I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit for it.

2

Proposal in 48 hours

Scope, deliverables, timeline, and one price. No surprises later.

3

Kickoff in 48 hours

50% to start on projects; retainers bill on the 1st. I work inside your tools with weekly updates, always.

4

Handoff or stay on

Projects end with docs, SOPs, and 14 days of post-handoff support. Retainers roll month to month, cancel with 30 days' notice.

Ways to work projects & retainers, never hourly

Outcomes and predictable pricing, not hourly meters. Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute fit call, and if none of these boxes fits, we build a custom scope on the call.

About me · aka your new ops partner

Hi, I'm Norie I run the back office

I've spent 14+ years in customer experience and operations, the last 8 of them remote, as the person behind the scenes for mission-driven organizations: support inboxes, marketing ops, course platforms, launches, and the systems holding them together. I've seen what happens inside growing teams when nobody owns those systems: launches slip, automations silently break, and the founder becomes the ops department.

So that's the job I do now. I work with startups, nonprofits, and growing teams as an operations partner, on projects or retainer. I build systems your team can actually run, and I document everything so knowledge never lives in one person's head. (Not even mine.)

The fit call what to expect

30 minutes, free, no prep needed. Here's exactly how it goes:

1

Before the call

Nothing to prepare. If it helps, jot down the two or three things eating the most time each week, but showing up is enough.

2

On the call

You talk me through how things run today: the tools, the launches, the inbox. I ask questions, and I'll flag the quickest wins I can see, whether or not we work together.

3

After the call

If we're a fit, a proposal lands in your inbox within 48 hours: scope, deliverables, timeline, one price. If we're not, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.

What it's never: a sales pitch, a hard close, or a test you can fail. Come with the messy version.

Book your fit call

Let's get you answers the stuff people ask before booking

What's the difference between a project and a retainer?

A project is fixed scope with a clear finish line: one migration, one system build, one launch, priced upfront and done in weeks. A retainer is ongoing monthly support where I keep your operations running, maintained, and improving. Many clients start with a project and move to a retainer once they've seen how I work.

How does payment work?

Projects: 50% to start, the rest at delivery. Retainers: billed on the 1st of each month, cancel any time with 30 days' notice. Never hourly, so you always know the price before the work begins.

What if none of your packages fits what I need?

Custom scopes are normal, and the fit call is where we shape one. If you're not sure what you need at all, start with the Ops Audit: you get a findings report and a 90-day roadmap either way, and the fee is credited toward any build or retainer we start within 60 days.

Is the fit call a sales call?

No pitch, no hard close, no test you can fail. You tell me what's messy, I ask questions and flag the quickest wins I can see, and I tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit. If I'm not, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.

Who actually does the work?

Me. Always. No agency handoff, no mystery subcontractors, no junior assistant you didn't sign up for. The person on the fit call is the person in your systems.

How do time zones work? Where are you based?

I'm based in the Philippines and work async-first with teams worldwide, and if your team needs live overlap hours, we can arrange them. You'll hear back within one business day, usually faster. One boundary worth knowing upfront: I don't work weekends, so a Friday message usually gets its reply on Monday.

What does communication look like during an engagement?

Email for the main thread, Loom videos for updates and walkthroughs, and Slack for quick questions if your team lives there. Every engagement gets a weekly update covering what shipped, what's next, and anything I need from you, as a short written note or Loom. No status-meeting calendar clutter unless you want it.

How many calls will we actually have?

Three, in most engagements: the fit call before we start, an onboarding call at kickoff, and an offboarding call at wrap-up. Everything in between happens async through Loom, Slack, or email, which keeps your calendar clear and the work moving.

How soon can you start?

After the fit call you get a proposal within 48 hours, and once it's signed, kickoff usually happens within another 48 hours (weekends excepted). If my project slots are full, I'll tell you the real start date on the call rather than overpromise.

What happens when a project ends?

Every project closes with a real handover: documentation and SOPs for everything I built, so your team can run the day-to-day confidently. You also get 14 days of post-handoff support for questions and small fixes. After that, most clients either keep me on a light retainer so the systems stay maintained and keep improving, or come back when the next project shows up. Tools update, teams change, and businesses grow; that part is ongoing, and that's what retainers are for.

Can I hire you for a small one-off task?

For existing and past clients, yes, small fixes are always welcome. For new clients, the Ops Audit is the smallest engagement, and it's deliberately priced to be an easy first step. It gives us both a real look at whether we work well together.

How do you handle passwords and access to our systems?

Carefully. Credentials are shared through a password manager, never over email or chat, and anything stored on my side gets deleted at wrap-up. Best practice is for your team to have its own password manager, and I can set that up for you as part of the work. One more principle: every tool we use in your business is paid for and owned by you, in your accounts, so nothing ever depends on mine.

Do nonprofits really get a discount?

Yes: 15% off any package, project or retainer. Mission-led work is why I do this, and the discount is my way of putting that in writing.
